Tapex Mexicana
S.A. de C.V.
Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico

In 2003, SIDEE developed and constructed a 116,832 sq. ft. executive building for industrial use in Matamoros, Mexico. It was originally leased by Grupo Schumex, S.A. de C.V. before being purchased by Toyoda Gosei for Tapex Mexicana, S.A. de C.V. The acquisition of this facility marked Toyoda Gosei’s first foray into Mexico.

The steel structure features prefabricated walls made of sustainable Hebel Autoclaved Aerated Concrete, 100% air conditioning, freight truck ramps, parking for fifty-four vehicles, and green areas.

This facility has optimized the production and distribution of automotive safety systems such as airbags, to Toyoda Gosei’s customers across North America.
